Lynn University has long emphasized the fact that it prioritizes innovation in its curriculum. This focus on innovation has been instrumental in inspiring the university to offer students unique opportunities like this one. While Lynn University is small, its aspirations are not, and while its student body may seem small compared to other schools, they are destined for great things thanks to the university’s commitment to quality and excellence in all things.
Here at BBEX Marketing, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of innovation in our field. BBEX is dedicated to helping our clients enhance and optimize their web presence, increasing lead generation and conversion, resulting in business growth. To that end, we provide full-site consultations, search engine optimization (SEO), and web content developed with each client’s specific industry and goals in mind.
The collaboration between the university and BBEX was a natural fit. Lynn U embraced the chance to give students a new and valuable experience, and the BBEX team was excited to share our experience and knowledge in a way that reached out to the community at large.
Hands-on Experience with Real Clients
Lynn University’s Marketing and Communications MBA students were thrilled to have the opportunity to put some of the abstract theories they’d been studying in class to work for real marketing campaigns. The students worked together in teams on projects assigned by Nate Aloni, BBEX Project Manager.
These projects represented the types of tasks students could realistically expect to complete as employees of any online marketing firm. Working with the accounts of some of BBEX Marketing’s actual clients, a variety of south Florida businesses, students formulated blog posts, web content and press releases. They assisted with social media management and practiced search engine optimization techniques designed to help companies’ sites rank higher in search engines like Google.
Experiences like these help students translate their academic experiences into preparation for a corporate world. They can also serve as an important motivator, as students are able to draw concrete connections between the abstract theories they learn about and their real world applications. It gives them the opportunity to value what they are learning in school not only as a means to achieve a certain grade, but because it is information that can help them build a meaningful, successful career in their chosen field.
