No, unfortunately Google Penguin is still in effect. The disavow tool was put in place for site owners like yourself who had dubious back links leading to their site, and hurting their ratings. Google will inform you through web master tools if you have one of these links, so you can take the necessary steps to disavow.

I’m new to building internet sites and I was wanting to know if having your site title relevant to your articles and other content really that critical? I notice your title, ” Google link tool | Google link disavow ” does appear to be spot on with what your post is about however, I prefer to keep my title less content descriptive and based more around site branding. Would you think this is a good idea or bad idea? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Arron! For SEO purposes, it’s ideal to have unique secondary titles for every page of a website. Google isn’t fond of duplicate meta or content across a website. When you create a new page, you really want to keep everything from the body copy, to the headings, to the meta unique and unified, so you’re sending a very clear message to Google. This approach makes it a lot easier for Google to recognize the purpose of your site’s pages and index in their search engine accordingly, so it appears for relevant terms.

If you’re focused more on branding, and you’re including boilerplate titles across the site, you’re not really communicating clearly with Google, and you won’t get rankings for search queries that aren’t precisely tied to your brand as a result. Hope that helps!
